Our X,L,M size halters are made with 1 webbing…not 5 8 or 3 4 as is common in most mini halters on the market.
Miniature horse halters come in 4 sizes: Large, Medium, Small, Foal Newborn.Â
Miniature donkey halters come in 5 sizes: X-Lge, Large, Medium, Small, Foal Newborn
X-Lge halters fit the largest of minis (and some small standards). Â Most adult miniature donkeys would wear a Medium.

We have had many requests for breakaway halters. We NEVER ever recommend leaving a halter on, however if you MUST have a halter on for an extended period of time (such as trailering, using a grazing muzzle, etc) here is a link to a leather breakaway piece made by Weaver Leather on amazon. It can be attached to our halters by removing the buckle strap and replacing it with this piece.
